Winged Cat Table Centrepiece
Item Description
Silver-plated table centrepiece featuring a mythological stylised winged cat supporting an ornate glass bowl.
Tall and lean, with its long tail pointing upwards, the panther-like creature is proudly sitting bolt upright with its chest puffed out. It is looking straight ahead, stylised wings curling upwards from its shoulders.
This is a striking and unusual centrepiece and one we’ve not come across before.
The glass bowl screws into the top fitment and the whole image is one of style and elegance.
Unmarked but dating from the Art Deco era circa 1920-30.
Total height is approximately 36 cm with the diameter of the base 18.5 cm.
