Forget-Me-Not Brooch
Item Description
Brooch in 18 ct. gold crafted into the form of a spray of forget-me-nots loosely tied together with gold wire at the base of their stems.
A flowing design with the stems curving upwards and to one side to display their blue enamelled flowers, each centred with a little pearl.
Two long partially enamelled leaves, one of them curling over and downwards, complete the floral spray.
Marked Italy and for 18 ct. gold on the back of one of the leaves and showing a number of other, presumably Italian, marks at the base of one of the stems.
Circa 1940’s/50s and measuring approximately 6 cms. in length.
