Victorian Gold, Peridot and Seed Pearl Pendant Necklace*
Item Description
Pendant necklace dating from the late 1800’s with a delightful floral and foliate design in the form of a leafy wreath with ribbons at the top, set with a cluster of seed pearls in the centre and with further beautifully graduated seed pearls set in the two gold swags, and yet more on each of the geeen enamelled leaves.
Immediately above the pendant, on a single link, the suspender is set with an oval faceted peridot with further peridots and pearls set at intervals along the necklace chain.
Finally, at the foot a tapering Mississippi pearl drop is suspended to complete a beautifully elegant overall look.
The pendant tests as 15 ct. gold but the chain is marked 10K on the bolt ring.
Just a fraction over 5 cms. long, including the suspender and the drop, with the necklace chain measuring approximately 50 cms.
