Victorian Gold Necklace with Baroque Pearl Tassels
Item Description
Distinctive and extremely elegant festoon necklace crafted in 9 ct. gold and dating from the late Victorian era.
With fancy link ornate chain-work, the necklace features four prominent drops, each comprising clusters of baroque pearls suspended on short lengths of chain from four slightly larger individual pearls spread evenly below the main necklace chain.
Fitted with a typically Arts & Crafts style fastener and with a fully opened out length of 39.5 cms.
These baroque pearls are now extremely hard to fine and would cost more to buy individually from a specialist supplier than we are asking for the necklace, there being no less that thirty-four of them in total.
