Theodor Fahrner Silver Gilt Necklace*
Item Description
Stylish Art Deco era necklace from the highly regarded Pforzheim based Theodor Fahrner company.
Crafted in silver-gilt, the necklace comprises eighteen identical contoured fan-shaped components with a fine filigree detail and a curving collar of little marcasites set below a silver-gilt ball.
Each of these is linked to the next via an elongated decorative link, with the last few centimetres before the fastener graduating to an ornate but narrower chain for added comfort when wearing.
Marked on the fan closest to the clasp with the TF maker’s mark and Original Fahrner together with the silver content 925.
Circa early to mid 1930’s and with a length of approximately 44 cm.
