Theodor Fahrner Filigree Cross*
Item Description
Silver gilt cross pendant from Theodor Fahrner dating from circa mid 1930’s.
Crafted in their filigree style with the individual little whorls each divided by a protruding ‘dot’. Interestingly, each piece of filigree spiral was hand soldered in the Fahrner workshop.
With a minimalist, uncluttered outline, the cross is set with a square aquamarine in its centre and still has its original dedicated bale and chain.
Marked on the back ‘Original Fahrner’ and also with the TF mark and 925 for the silver content.
The pendant and bale are a touch over 6 cm in length, with the chain measuring approximately 45 cm.
