Art Deco Earrings by Fahrner
Item Description
Pair of rather striking silver earrings by Theodor Fahrner dating from the 1920’s crafted in five linked sections incorporating marcasites, black enamel and, finally, a prominent blue agate bead.
The component parts alternate in both style and finish before the lowest of them widens as it descends, rather like the calyx of a flower, culmainating in the polished agate ‘berry’.
Marked sterling on the back together with the TF maker’s mark and measuring a fraction below 8 cms. long from the top bend in the gold wire fittings.
