Th. Fahrner Art Deco Earrings*
Item Description
Art Deco hoop-shaped earrings cleverly crafted from silver wire with tiny marcasites spaced at intervals all round the face, adding a touch of sparkle.
The silver hoop, which broadens towards the bottom, is fixed to a similarly decorated upright which suspends from the fastener, allowing it to swing.
Within the circle hangs a smaller chrysoprase hoop following the same outline, which swings completely independently.
Finished at the front of the screw-type fastener with a chrysoprase cabochon.
Circa 1922, showing the Theodor Fahrner maker’s mark on the backs and measuring a little over 4cm long.
