Tea for Two
Item Description
A really eye-catching “tête-à-tête” tea or coffee set from Argentor of Vienna.
Comprising of a tray with tall handle and two smaller elevated trays for the milk/cream jug and sugar bowl. The pot has a cane wrapped handle and knob and the two small cups, with a stylish openwork design, have tailored glass inserts. Very Art Deco in its style but almost certainly a little earlier.
Every metal piece is stamped with the maker’s mark. One very small ‘dink’ to one edge of the base of the pot but otherwise in very good order. The glass liners are not original but are completely in keeping.
Length of the tray is 32.5 cm, width at its widest point 16.5 cm, and the overall height a touch over 30 cm.
