Suitcase Girl*
Item Description
Delightful ceramic figure designed by Stefan Dakon and made by the Viennese firm of Keramos around 1930.
Beautifully hand painted and glazed, this very appealing little girl is wearing a rose pink hooded coat over her short floral dress and carrying a small suitcase in her right hand. With the tops of her pink socks peeking over her buttoned boots and her other hand tucked inside her coat pocket, she looks as though she might be waiting on the station platform for a train. Her pretty little face has a serious expression and you can’t help wondering where she might be going.
Around 23 cm tall and marked beneath with the Keramos shield and Made in Austria. Numbered 2016.
