Scandinavian Silver and Swiss Lapis Brooch
Item Description
Skønvirke brooch crafted in 800 silver into the form of a mirrored pair of rose flowers surrounded by leaves and other abstract designs.
Set in the centre is a circular Swiss lapis cabochon which subtly contrasts with the silverwork.
Marked Eschutz together with a maker’s mark that we’ve unfortunately been unable to identify.
Early 1900’s and measuring just a touch over 5 cms. wide by 4 cms. high.
