Marius Hammer Silver Gilt and Enamel Pendant*
Item Description
Skønvirke pendant by the Norwegian master jeweller and silversmith Marius Hammer dating from the early 1900’s.
As with much of his jewellery, this was crafted in silver which swas then gilded, giving a warm golden colour that’s a little more restrained than gold itself.
Openwork in design wth fine filigree detail and and an upright oval centre guilloche enamelled in a shade of lime green.
The glass beaded drop at the foot is also enamelled in the same colour.
Still fitted with the original decorative bale and measuring just below 5 cms. in length, including this and the drop.
The silver gilt necklace chain is 45 cms. long.
