Arts & Crafts Silver and Moonstone Pendant*
Item Description
Impressive silver pendant that, although unmarked, has a real look of Bernard Instone about it.
With an elongated oval outline and beautifully detailed sprays of leaves and flowers separated by a large moonstone cabochon.
Openwork in design and well contoured, the whole enclosed by a double frame in silver.
It is the style and detail in the leaves in particular that draws us towards Instone as the likely maker.
Circa 1930’s, still with the original dedicated decorative bale and, including this measuring 6 cms. long.
The silver necklace chain has a length of 53 cms.
