Belle Epoque Diamond and Pearl Ring
Item Description
Very beautiful French ring dating from the Belle Epoque era crafted in 18 ct. gold and platinum.
Openwork in design, with a shaped outline, the face side of the ring head is in platinum whilst the underside and the shank is in gold.
Set in the centre is a good natural pearl, with no less than fourteen diamonds, carefully selected for their size, set at intervals all around.
No marks that we can see but being usually on the inside of the shank, they have probably worn away over time.
The ring head measures 24 X 16 mm. and the UK size is midway between N & O.
