Murrle Bennett Gold & Turquoise Pendant
Item Description
Pendant in 15 ct. gold made by Murrle bennett & Co. circa 1905, set with a large turquoise matrix cabochon.
The almost oval shaped stone is set within an entrelac wirework frame which subtly widens at both shoulders and at the base.
A Mississippi pearl is suspended below completing an elegant finishing touch.
Marked on the reverse with the MBCo maker’s mark and 15 ct.
A good size at just a fraction below 6 cm long from the bale ring to the bottom of the drop, with the 9 ct. gold necklace chain measuring 48 cm.
