Silver Gilt & Enamel Pendant by Marius Hammer
Item Description
Skønvirke pendant from Marius Hammer crafted in silver gilt and highlighted with enamel.
The shaped outline frames an ornate design, full of twists and whorls but with that lightness of look that is so typical of this particular maker’s work.
Three prominent circles are guilloche enamelled in a light blue shade , a similar colour being reflected in the small circular details in the top part of the pendant, and further detailed with four tiny white enamelled dots.
The pendant is finished at the foot with a teardrop shaped drop in matching blue enamel and measures 6 cms. long including this and the bale.
Marked with the MH maker’s mark and on a silver gilt chain with a length of 46 cms.
