Marius Hammer Bracelet*
Item Description
Silver gilt and pale blue enamel bracelet from Marius Hammer – one we’ve not come across before.
Made up of five contoured openwork plaques, each one with an intricate scrolling wirework design, and each showing a central guilloche enamelled centre, further decorated with little light blue enamelled dots along the longer edges.
The plaques are connected one to the other by four short lengths of chain, adding to the lightness of form.
Impressed with a clear Marius Hammer maker’s mark on the back of the large central feature, together with the 930 silver mark.
The clasp opens and closes positively and a fixed safety chain provides extra security.
Dating from the early 1900’s and approximately 16 cm in circumference.
