Lorenzl Nude Dancer*
Item Description
Cold-painted bronze figure by Josef Lorenzl of a joyful and lissom nude dancer with her hair flying as she swirls on tiptoe. She’s on one leg with the other extended behind her and holds posies of flowers in each hand.
Such a sweet face and elegant pose that is typically Lorenzl.
Mounted on a double hexagonal ivory plinth which is further mounted on a bronze plate and raised on an onyx base.
Signed Lorenzl on the bronze plate which also shows the foundry mark BK. The height is approximately 27.5 cm.
The top step of the ivory plinth has a small split or crack, as shown in the photographs, but this does not detract from display and is mentioned purely for accuracy.
