Pendant from James Fenton
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant by James Fenton hallmarked at Birmingham for the year 1908.
The upright oval outline spreads at the top to accommodate three silver leaves on long stems which descend towards the base of the pendant.
Between these and the outer silver border the pendant is enamelled in graduating shades of blue in that typically ‘bobbly’ Fenton style.
Suspended at the foot is a little drop enamelled in matching blue.
Marked JF on the back, albeit a little indistinctly, and measuring just over 5.5 cms. long, including the bale and the drop.
The silver necklace chain is 45 cms. long.
