‘Honesty’ Pendant by James Fenton
Item Description
An early example of the much loved silver and enamel Art Nouveau pendant ‘Honesty’ by James Fenton.
With a Birmingham hallmark showing the letter ‘h’ for the year 1907, the pendant is complete with three enamelled drops and a specially shaped suspender in matching enamel.
Later versions usually have just a single central drop and are often without the suspender.
The J.F maker’s mark is impressed on the back, adjacent to the hallmark.
Measuring just over 6 cms. long including the central drop and the suspender, with the silver necklace chain having a length of just a fraction below 44 cms.
