Item Description
Fabulous patinated bronze inkwell – an ideal gift perhaps for that particular someone who seems to have everything and is so difficult to buy for.
By Gustav Gurschner (b 1873) it takes the form of a semi-naked girl, kneeling and holding in front of her a basket. Just lift the lid from the basket and there’s your ink.
It’s a gorgeous item, in super condition and complete with the original clear glass insert (no chips). Mounted on a marble base with just one very small chip as shown in our penultimate photo.
Made in Vienna around 1900. Inscribed signature on the rim of the basket and with a height of 20 cm. Sorry, ink not included…
