Art Nouveau Gold and Platinum Pendant*
Item Description
Art Nouveau pendant in a combination of both 18 ct. gold and platinum, detailed with green plique-à-jour enamelling and set with diamonds.
In the centre a fine opal, set in gold, is suspended and at the foot hangs a natural pearl drop.
A fluid and extremely elegant design with the front face in platinum and the reverse in gold.
Beautifully contoured and still fitted with the original diamond set bale.
No marks but thought to be French in origin and dating from circa 1910.
Including the bale and the drop, the pendant is 6.5 cms. long with the platinum necklace chain having a length of 40 cms.
