French Art Nouveau Gold and Diamond Brooch Pendant
Item Description
French Art Nouveau brooch crafted in 18 ct. gold, highlighted with diamonds and finished at the foot with a diamond and natural pearl drop.
The intricate foliate design with its stylised elongated narrow leaves curving and winding their way over and around each other is so classically Art Nouveau and the workmanship is absolutely meticulous.
Beautifully contoured which accentuates the three-dimensional aspect, and subtly fitted on the back with little hooks to accept a chain should one wish to wear it as a pendant at any time.
Showing French marks on the pin but despite our research we are unable to attribute a particular maker.
Measuring 3.5 cms. wide by a little over 4.5 cms. long, including the drop.
