French Art Deco Gold Necklace*
Item Description
Striking French 18 ct. gold necklace crafted in a strong Art Deco style, dating from the late 1920’s to early 30’s.
Made using three distinct shades of gold – yellow, rose and white, although we have to say that we’re not completely sure that the white isn’t platinum as we haven’t had it tested.
The necklace comprises three matching linked components showing an openwork arrowed design beneath a spreading fan shaped feature.
On each side is a tapering section in a similar complementary style which then connects to the necklace chain.
Beautifully made, as can be seen in our photograph of the back, and with French gold marks on the jump ring.
All completely original and with a fully opened out length of between 42 and 43 cm.
