Arts & Crafts 18 ct. Gold Necklace*
Item Description
Beautifully made English Arts & Crafts necklace crafted in 18 ct. gold with a look that is very much Artificer’s Guild.
It is, however, unmarked and could well be a piece the design of which was heavily influenced by work from that particular guild.
With three components spaced a little apart from each other, each set in the centre with a pearl, the outer two suspending a quatrefoil shaped drop, again set with a pearl in the centre.
The central element is also quartrefoil shaped and from this hangs a rather splendid baroque pearl.
Totally hand made, including the very ornate chain with its toggle type fastener.
English, circa 1900 and with a total length of 42 cms.
