Copper & Brass Plant Holder*
Item Description
Rather striking and quite large Arts & Crafts plant holder, the bowl made of copper and the sweeping combined handles and feet of brass.
With a stylised repoussé ace of spades decoration repeated six times around the belly of the bowl, set against a lightly hammered background.
The three handles are of polished brass and curve in an ‘S’ shape, graduating down to form the feet which are also shaped in spade fashion, as are the points of attachment.
Made circa 1905 and in good general condition, commensurate with its age.
Measuring 33 cm high, the diameter being 25 cm and the width between the extremities of the handles around 33 cm.
