Silver pendant from Charles Horner in the form of a flying butterfly, its wings vividly enamelled in two shades of blue.
With a fine silver outline which also divides the two pairs of wings, and detailed silverwork to the body and the antennae, this is a delightful representation of one of our most beautiful flying insects.
Hanging on two short lengths of chain from a matching enamelled suspender and measuring 5 cm long including this.
Marked C.H on the back and with a Chester hallmark that date wise is a little difficult to decipher accurately, although it is clearly from the early 1900.s
