Rare Charles Horner Pendant*
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant necklace from Charles Horner in a design that is now very hard to find.
Depicting a writhing sea fish playing with a large ball whilst holding it between its open mouth and its tail.
Finely detailed, with a bold eye, tiny scales and a long serrated dorsal fin.
In a mix of colours to the enamelled ball and the suspender from which it hangs on two short lengths of chain.
Marked on the back with the C.H maker’s mark and also with a Chester hallmark for the year 1909.
The length, including the suspender, is 6 cms. with the remainder of the necklace chain measuring approximately 44 cms.
