Art Nouveau Pendant Necklace from Charles Horner
Item Description
Classic Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant necklace by Charles Horner with a Chester hallmark for the year 1909.
Approximately oval in outline, the upper part showing an entrelac design of intertwining tendrils with two vividly enamelled offset plaques below.
Hanging on two short lengths of chain from a triangular suspender and with a little pear-shaped drop below, both enamelled in matching shades.
Length, including the suspender and the drop, is a fraction below 7 cms. and the necklace chain measures 46 cms.
Impressed with the C.H maker’s mark on the back.
