Carved Horn Chrysanthemum Pendant*
Item Description
French Art Nouveau carved horn pendant titled ‘Windblown Chrysanthemum’
Set in an approximately triangular frame, the single flower, with its outer reflexed petals, is shown in casual disarray above a pair of greeny-brown leaves.
Although unsigned, this is a known design by Elizabeth Bonté and was almost certainly crafted in her workshops.
Still on the original silk cord which shows some signs of age but we have not been tempted to replace it.
With glass beads at intervals along the necklace cord and with the usual elongated glass drop.
The pendant is 10 cm long, with the necklace cord measuring approximately 84 cm.
