Skønvirke Silver Brooch by Bernhard Hertz*
Item Description
Silver brooch by the Danish jeweller and silversmith Bernhard Hertz (1834-1908).
Openwork in design and featuring a mirrored pair of stylised leaves on winding stems, with an upright oval chrysoprase cabochon set in the centre.
Beneath is suspended an ornate drop in a similar but smaller theme.
Fully marked on the back and measuring 5.5 cms. wide by just a touch over 6.5 cms. high.
