Art Nouveau Gold Pendant by BHJ
Item Description
Stylish Art Nouveau pendant from the Birmingham workshops of the Penzance born Barnet Henry Joseph (1837-1907).
An open and contoured design with a somewhat shield-shaped outline and set in the centre with a downward tapering mother-of-pearl plaque.
Finished at the foot with a little pearl drop and clearly marked B.H.J and 9 ct. on the reverse.
The pendant measures 4.5 cms. in length, including the bale, and the 9 ct. necklace chain has a length of just over 42 cms.
