Arts & Crafts Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Pendant
Item Description
Arts & Crafts silver pendant with a very individual look, featuring a prominent and well contoured mother-of-pearl focal point, flanked a little way down from the top by a frame of silver wire-work. This is decorated with a pair of bell flowers on each side, together with three yellow stones that we’ve been unable to identify with any certainty.
The pendant hangs on two short lengths of chain from a circular surmount which is set with an amethyst cabochon.
Circa 1900 and with no maker’s mark but marked on the back for sterling silver.
Length including the bale is 7 cms., with the silver necklace chain measuring 54 cms.
