Arts & Crafts Silver & Enamel Earrings*
Item Description
Pair of Arts & Crafts enamelled silver earrings made in two separate sections linked together with short pairs of chain.
The shield-shaped top part is suspended on a single link from a silver ball connected to the wire fitting, the larger lower section repeating the design with the added extra detail of three heart-shaped leaves emerging from the top and nestling between the chains.
Each of the individual enamelled areas has a convex surface and is enamelled in combinations of green and blue shading to golden yellow in the centres.
Very early 1900’s and with a distinct look of Liberty about them, they were acquired from a lady in whose possession they had been for many years and we consider them to be a rare find.
Approximately 5 cm long including the silver ball.
