Arts & Crafts Silver and Enamel Pendant Necklace*
Item Description
Arts & Crafts pendant necklace in silver showing an aged dark patina, with a prominent central area enamelled in shades of dappled blue with greenish yellow highlights.
The shaped and gently contoured silver framing the enamel shows a studded detail and is itself bordered by a surrounding wirework ring.
At the foot a pearl drop is suspended.
The pendant hangs on three short lengths of chain which connect via a few horizintal links to the necklace chain.
Unmarked, circa 1900 and a little under 8 cm long from the short connecting chain.
The necklace chain, which is fitted with a hand fashioned toggle type fastener, has an approximate length of 44 cm.
