Arts & Crafts Silver Pendant Necklace
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts pendant necklace with an intricate silver wirework outer frame encircling an upright oval central section with a rope patterned border which encloses a further rope work detail full of twists and turns.
In the very centre a garnet cabochon is set and carnelians feature in the surmount above and the drop below.
On a good Arts & Crafts silver chain fitted with a toggle type fastener.
Circa 1910-20 and approximately 7 cms. long including the surmount and the drop, with the necklace chain measuring 39.5 cms. in length.
