Silver and Plique-à-Jour Pendant
Item Description
Art Nouveau pendant necklace with a softly shaped outline enclosing an openwork floral and foliate design accented with three plique-à-jour enamelled features in a shade of blue.
Gently contoured and sporting a little silver drop showing traces of a gilt finish.
The pendant is suspended from a fixed necklace chain with links that continue the overall lightness of look.
Probably Continental and quite possibly German or Austrian and dating from the very early 1900’s.
The pendant has a width of 4.25 cms. and the necklace chain has a total length of 49 cms.
