Murrle Bennett Enamelled Silver Pendant
Item Description
Art Nouveau silver pendant by Murrle Bennett enamelled in shades of blue, green and brown.
Somewhat shield-shaped and with a well contoured surface, divided by sweeping silver lines and a stylised foliate detail.
Counter enamelled on the back and with a typical Murrle Bennett enamelled drop suspended below.
The pendant shows a clear MBCo maker’s mark on the reverse together with the silver content mark.
All in good order and measuring a touch over 5 cms. long including the ring bale and the drop.
The silver necklace chain, which shows at intervals two distinct types of link, is approximately 45 cms. in length.
