Art Nouveau Gold and Amethyst Pendant
Item Description
English Art Nouveau pendant crafted in 9 ct. gold, dating from the early 1900’s.
An elegant and fluid design incorporating leaves on winding stems, an upturned flower and two little inverted hearts.
Set in the centre is a strongly coloured amethyst with another in the drop at the foot.
No maker’s mark apparent but very well crafted and simply marked 9 ct. in the back.
Still fitted with the original bale and measuring just a fraction below 6 cms. long including the bale and the drop.
The 9 ct. gold necklace chain is 40 cms. in length.
