Art Nouveau Gold and Diamond Pendant
Item Description
Pendant crafted in a combination of 18 ct. white and yellow gold featuring a classic Art Nouveau whiplash design together with elegant soft curves and a pair of stylised three lobed leaves.
Beautifully made and set with diamonds and pearls, finishing with a pearl drop at the foot.
The pendant is fitted with an easily removable white gold chain fitted with a 10 ct. gold barrel type fastener.
Acquired in the velvet lined fitted box shown in the photos which bears the name of the original retailer, Editions Graphiques Gallery of Clifford Street, London. This was the gallery owned and run by the late highly respected art dealer and author Victor Arwas.
The pendant, including its pearl drop, is a fraction over 5 cms. in length with the necklace chain measuring approximately 53 cms.
