Art Deco Silver & Turquoise Scarab Brooch Pendant
Item Description
Original 1920’s Egyptian revival pendant that may also be worn as a brooch.
Oval in outline, crafted in silver, and in fact marked 1000 on the reverse, with a fine beaded and wirework design somewhat Greek key in style, all surrounding a ring of little turquoise cabochons,
This, in turn, frames a central faience scarab in matching colour.
There is a pin on the back and the chain is easily removable enabling the pendant to be worn as a brooch at any chosen time.
The oval measures 4.5 cm high by 3.75 wide and the necklace chain has a length of just under 45 cm.
