Art Deco Lady & Deer*
Item Description
Art Deco Lady and Deer sculpture in patinated white metal by the Belgian artist Alexandre Ouline dating from the mid to late 1920’s.
This example is signed using one of his occasional pseudonyms, Oudine (another being Ondine). The elegant and scantily clad young woman is kneeling and pointing the way ahead whilst looking back over her shoulder towards the slightly reticent deer.
Set on a black marble base measuring 67 X 17.5 cm and with an overall height of 32 cm. This piece is in lovely condition with an aged patina and just a very few minor edge nibbles to the marble.
