Silver and Turquoise Matrix Necklace*
Item Description
Silver wirework pendant necklace in a balanced ornate design full of twists and curves, showing a fine mill-grain finish on the leading edges.
Turquoise matrix cabochons are spaced at intervals and three drops, also set with similar stones, are suspended on single links below.
The same theme continues on the necklace chain which sports another pair of matching stones on each side.
Curiously, the central drop is set in a gold mount and the stone itself is a little more green in colour than the others. Whether this is original or has been altered at some stage in its history we are unable to say.
The main pendant has a width of 6 cms and, opened out, the full length is 48 cms.
