Gold and Silver Pendant by Child & Child*
Item Description
Deightful little pendant in both silver and gold from Child & Child, brothers whose London workshops were active between 1880 and 1915.
Small in size but quite exquisitely crafted nonetheless.
Comprising an outer gold ring, the face of which, inside its finely toothed edge, is enamelled in white with tiny gold dots at intervals all around.
Inside this is suspended a small bird with its wings and tail outspread, vividly enamelled in green.
Clearly marked on the back with the Child & Child mark and measuring 1.8 cms. in diameter.
The 9 ct. gold necklace chain has a length of 47 cms.
